- Ordinals Marketplace will offer features that include mining and trading of bitcoin ordinals

OKX, one of the leading cryptocurrency exchange and Web3 technology company, today announced Ordinals Marketplace launched on OKX Wallet, making it the first multichain wallet to support BRC-20 trading. New Ordinals Marketplace allows users to mint and trade Bitcoin Ordinals and BRC-20 Tokens.

Mint and Trade Ordinal Inscriptions and BRC-20 Tokens
The new Ordinals Marketplace includes the following features: a “live now” that will allow users to view and place ordinals; An “Available This Week” feature enables trading of BRC-20 tokens (users will be able to buy, sell, and list).
In addition there will also be a “Coming Soon” feature that allows the creation of Ordinal Inscription NFT and BRC-20 tokens and “Coming Soon: Trade Ordinal (Buy, Sell and List)”
In addition to the new Ordinals marketplace, OKX has also announced additional support for Bitcoin.
This includes support for the Lightning Network to enable cheap and fast bitcoin transactions. There is also support for bitcoin layer-2 tokens stack (stx) and BRC-20 token, and OKX BTC explorer for BRC-20. With the latter feature, users can now validate BRC-20 transactions in real-time
In addition to the above announcements, the company also revealed that its team will participate in the Bitcoin Builders Conference, the first conference focused on the layer-2 ecosystem of bitcoin. The event is scheduled for May 17th in Miami, where Jason Lau, Chief Innovation Officer of OKEx, will speak on a panel with other industry leaders.
